Poker Icons by Ulvis Alberts

Pokerimages has the exclusive rights to the iconic poker photography of world re-nowned photographer Ulvis Alberts. Latvian American photographer Alberts is best known for his rock'n'roll shots of Sammy Davis Jnr., Paul and Linda McCartney, Alice Cooper, Jimi Hendrix and many others.

As well as these we also have his fantastic shots of the poker legends of the 70s and 80s - Stu 'the kid' Ungar, Doyle 'Dolly' Brunson, 'Amarillo Slim' Preston and many more, all signed by Ulvis and some even signed and annotated by the players themselves. These incredible images have featured in many books and magazines, most recently Al Alvarez's 2001 book "POKER: Bets, Bluffs and Bad Beats" (Chronicle Books/US: Bloomsbury/UK).

They are now available through Pokerimages as hand-printed, black and white, silver-gelatin fibre archive-treated prints - printed by Ulvis himself in his own dark room.
